Established in 2007, Henley Fine Wines is a wine agency specialising in the boutique wineries of the glorious, world-class winemaking regions of South Australia. Our wines can be purchased in the South of England's best restaurants, several independent retailers, and direct from our website.

Our business

Henley Fine Wines is the brainchild of former resident of South Australia and graduate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Joanne Humphrey.

Whilst living in Adelaide from 1993 to 1997, Joanne worked for two different agencies for Australian and New Zealand winemakers, representing a host of award-winning wineries including Henschke, Grant Burge, Geoff Merrill and Mitchell. Joanne was responsible for marketing and promoting these and many other fine wines to both the on- and off-trade across South Australia. It was Joanne’s employer who nominated her for the South Australian Rotary Club’s Pride of Workmanship Award, which she won in 1995.

Since her return to the UK, with her Adelaidian husband in 1997, Joanne has worked for both clients and agencies in the busy London marketing industry, and at the same time completed the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s post-graduate diploma in marketing.

During a visit to the Clare Valley, Joanne decided to put her knowledge and experience together in forming her own South Australian wine agency in the South East of England. There stood the formation of Henley Fine Wines.

Henley Fine Wines is firmly committed to introducing an even greater range of South Australian fine wines to the UK market place, with a particular emphasis on boutique wineries often with limited quantities to sell. The company commits a great deal of time to researching the market and keeping up-to-date with new developments and business trends. A founding principle of Henley Fine Wines is that customers, winemakers and other suppliers will all receive pro-active and top quality customer service throughout the business relationship.
