April 2008
The 4 April issue of Harpers magazine saw the Bundaleer
Sparkling Shiraz featured in its Harpers Choice section. Such a versatile
wine, drinkable at so many occasions throughout the year, we were delighted
to see it highly recommended as a great accompaniment to a barbecue.

1 February 2008
The February issue of leading consumer wine title,
Decanter featured both the Willunga Creek 2005 Black Duck Shiraz and the
Bundaleer 2003 Shiraz in its article on South Australian Shirazes. Both wines
were recommended by the title, which said of the Bundaleer Shiraz:
'Spice, coffee, hint of sweaty leather, oak, red fruit.
Pleasant, sweet black fruit, leathery notes. Spice and balanced tannins. Up to
two years.'
This wine is soon to be replaced by the 2004 vintage
Shiraz, but limited bottles can still be purchased. Please contact us for
further details.

14 October 2007
Henley Fine Wines was proud to demonstrate its wines at
the inaugural Newbury Wine Festival over the weekend of 13 and 14 October. The
brainchild of a local wine merchant, the event featured 20 local merchants, most
of whom were representing boutique, family-owned wineries.
Visitors enjoyed tasting a whole variety of wines from all
over the world and were treated to two masterclasses on each day, where they
could hear lively debate on the topics of 'Old Versus New' and 'Champagnes and
Sparkling Wines'.
The event proved to be a huge success for all who took
part and was much enjoyed by the people of Newbury.

We are thrilled to announce that two of the
wines in our range received recognition at the Royal Adelaide Wine Show in the
results published today. Bundaleer Wines was delighted that its Cabernet
Sauvignon received a silver medal in the Cabernets 2004 and earlier category.
Coincidentally, the Willunga Creek Cabernet Sauvignon was also awarded a silver
medal in its newer Cabernets category. The victory is all the sweeter for both
wineries for being awarded in our home state.
